We believe every person has a story—and God is at the heart of it. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or deepening a lifelong walk with Christ, our Wednesday night WOW classes are designed to help you grow, connect, and live out your story with purpose.​

“This Is My Story” is our 2026 theme, reminding us that our lives are part of God’s greater story of love, redemption, and transformation. There’s a place for everyone—kids, youth, and adults of all ages. Check out the class descriptions below and sign up for the one that fits your season of life and your spiritual journey.

All groups are on Wednesdays at 6 PM unless noted. All groups start January 14th.

A Place to Start
For adults and newcomers of all ages
New to the church? Curious about what we believe? This class is the perfect place to begin! Come explore the basics of our faith, what it means to follow Jesus, and how First Church lives out its mission. Great for those interested in baptism, membership, or just learning more.

Unplugged Worship
For youth and adults (multi-generational)
Worship is more than just singing—it’s how we connect with God! This interactive class dives into the songs we sing, the Scriptures they come from, and how worship can shape our daily lives. Come ready to sing, reflect, and grow in your love for God.

This is Our Story: Exploring Stories from Scripture
For youth and adults (multi-generational)
These aren’t your typical Sunday School lessons. In this class, we’ll explore wild, wonderful, and often overlooked stories from the Bible that reveal who God is and who we are called to be. Come curious—and leave inspired.
It’s Story Time
For kids, K through 5th grade
Our Promiseland Kids program helps children grow in faith through fun, hands-on Bible stories, music, and activities. Kids will discover what God has done for them and how they can live with love, joy, and purpose.
Living a Life of Faith: A 4-Week Study on the Parables of Jesus​
For adults
Jesus told stories that change lives. In this 4-week Bible study, we’ll dive into selected parables that challenge and encourage us to live faithfully and courageously. Come explore the wisdom of Jesus and what it means to thrive in your walk with God.

Mom’s Group: Faith, Friendship & Real Life
For moms of all ages and stage.
Motherhood is beautiful—and hard. Come find encouragement, laughter, and spiritual renewal with other moms who get it. In this group, we’ll share real-life stories, dive into Scripture, and support one another as we grow in faith and love. Whether you’re a new mom, a seasoned pro, or somewhere in between, you belong here. Let’s walk this journey together!
