NIGHT TO SHINE
First United Methodist Church of Sedalia is proud to announce that we will serve as one of 500+ churches around the world to host the Night to Shine prom sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. Night to Shine will simultaneously be held by all host churches on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.
Night to Shine operates on a 1:1 volunteer to guest ratio. This unforgettable night is made possible with the many volunteers that come together every year. Volunteers must be 14 and older. Registration, background check, a media release form, and volunteer training is required. Through God’s blessings and your involvement, Night to Shine 2026 will bless 100+ individuals and families. ABOUT NIGHT TO SHINE
Night to Shine is a complimentary event for people with special needs hosted by local churches around the world. The event is open to anyone living with disabilities, ages 14 and older.
We didn’t forget about the loved ones that support our Kings and Queens. We want to honor these incredible parents and family members for their lifetime commitment to their loved ones with special needs. We’d like to provide these remarkable people with an opportunity to rest and enjoy a night off, knowing their loved ones are having an amazing time in a safe environment with a personally assigned “buddy.” The respite room will be for parents/family to relax and enjoy complimentary food and entertainment.
The Tim Tebow Foundation exists to bring Faith, Hope and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.
